On my way to Miami-Dade College Aviation campus I passed this restored B-26 bomber that sits on a memorial site at the Kendall-Tamiami Executive Airport. The site is a memorial to the 10 Cuban-exile pilots and 4 American airmen killed during the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba in 1961.

The number “931” displayed on the aircraft is the same number on the B-26 bomber that was flown by Gustavo Ponzoa who was privileged to be a part of the recent groundbreaking ceremony.
