Vista View Park in Davie Florida is a converted landfill. The Davie Landfill was closed in 1987 and after clean up and restoration of the natural habitat area, it re-opened as Vista View Park in 2003. That is why there is a noticeable elevation in a relatively flat Florida landscape.

I like this park a lot because of the elevation, the lake, the bike trail, the horse trails and the exercise trail with exercise stations along the way.
